Rafting Reflection

Wednesday 22nd June on of the best experiences yet. The class gets split up into two groups one group goes rafting the other goes sea kayaking. I go rafting

I wake up I am excited but nervous, I can't wait till we get on the river I cannot stop thinking.
I learnt a lot on this trip from how to hold a paddle to what an eddy is.

I had a great time full of fun and laughter together

It was a great experience and I am glad I have got to done it.

I usually get homesick but this time, I didn't that was really good for a change.

The weather was okay it was spitting the whole time

Thanks to our great leaders from that tai pounamu polytech, Lachie, Toby, Simon, Ryan, and Reefton. Also a big thank to the school for letting us go on this trip and also other big thanks to Mr. Mcaualy for coming on the trip with us.

  1. Emma, thanks for your reflection. You've given a basic overview of your experience. Next time, can you please include some 'big picture' thinking? I don't just want to hear about what you did, I want to hear about how you did it too! I want to know what challenged you and what you'll take away from the experience to help you in the future. Check out Bailey's short but 'bigger picture' post www.paroagreybaileyr.blogspot.com
